Kindergarten-Introduction to the Library. Students will listen to some new books as well as some older well loved stories. 
Students will have the opportunity to learn to be a Maker. The focus is on taking turns, sharing equipment, building, creating and 
having fun.

1st grade-Review of the library procedures. Students will listen to some brand new books from a series as well as a book they would like to hear again. Students will learn how to use their shelf marker and where to find books they want.
They will review how to be a Maker and practice taking turns and sharing. They will have time to invent and share their inventions with the class. 

2nd grade Review of library procedures. Students will listen to some new award winning chapter books. We will review how to use the online catalog and practice different searching strategies. Students will play "search and rescue" games to find books in the fiction and picture book section.
Students will practice logging in to Tumblebooks and know how to find resources they enjoy.
We will be using Gizmos & Gadgets to make a bubble maker. Bubbles the size of table.
Review chromebook use in the Library, their and the AUP.

3rd grade-  Review of library procedures. I will be reading parts of some award winning books to students and showing them book trailers of other new books we have received over the summer. Students will expand on their library searching skills using our online catalog. The "search and rescue" game will be played with the fiction, picture, and nonfiction sections of the library. 
Students will delve into Tumblebooks and discover the new additions.
We will review chromebook use in the Library, their username and password  and understand AUP. They will create mad libs on a google document using different sizes and types of fonts, colors of text and background and inserting pictures.
Students will follow a blueprint creating and inventing using Snap Circuits Pro.
4th gradeReview of library procedures.  I will be reading parts of some award winning books to students and showing them book trailers of other new books we have received over the summer. Students will expand on their library searching skills using our online catalog. The "search and rescue" game will be played with the fiction, picture, and nonfiction sections of the library.

4th graders will all work on daily announcements. Each student is assigned a day where they research and create their google slides and then are taped in our Production Lab.
