Ancient Egypt

A quick blurb about Ancient Egypt:

Ancient Egypt history explores three long periods of history commonly referred to as the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. The Old Kingdom lasted from 2700 to 2200 B.C.E. During this time, Pharaohs set up a new style of government. This was also the Age of the Pyramids. The Middle Kingdom lasted from 2000 to 1800 B.C.E. This period of time is known for many achievements in literature, art, and architecture. The New Kingdom lasted from 1600 to 1100 B.C.E. This period is referred to as Egypt's Golden Age.
